It’s back to school, back to business time and we are winding up the summer. It’s been a great one with a fabulous summer soiree where we had a great mixer at Ruth’s Diner (guests came early and stayed till after 10pm!)

We are also hosting our 7th Annual Chicks With Sticks golf event tomorrow! We still have room for a few golfers if you are looking for a fun day with great women!

Register at: http://golf4nawboslc.eventbrite.com/ or email me at nawbomarypat@gmail.com.

Finally, our theme for this year at NAWBO is Leadership: be the Leader in your business and your life. As women in business, we often dismiss the position of influence that we have in our families, our communities and our business. This year will provide education and support for leaders to shine and build a fun life!
To YOUR success!

Last week we hosted a great event with Lou Dozier, “Staying Sane In An Insane World!” I personally got some great tips on how to manage my energy for a better attitude and a more efficient work day as well as a process that will help me have better conversations and get more done!

Below, we have an article from Lou about reality. Let us know what you think!

Coming up, we have some exciting events:

March is Member Appreciation Month – Mark your calendars for March 16th, 5:30-7:30pm for a great evening filled with networking and fun! You can even host a table to display your wares and market your business (first come, first served). Please visit here to learn more: http://nawboslc.org/membership-appreciation-night-special-nawbo-reunion-event/
Our Networking Mixers have been a blast! Our next event is March 2nd, 5-7pm at the Desert Edge Brewery. Come as you are and when you can! Members and First time guests are free, non-members are $5. We provide appetizers.

Stay tuned for some upcoming opportunities for more visibility:

Women Business Owner of the Year Award and Rising Start Award Nominations will be open during the month of April.

Awards and Installation Banquet – June 15

We are also seeking committee chairs and members. Please write to me at office@nawboslc.org and let me know of your interest.

To your success!
