Project Partnerships

Project Partnerships include the Internship Program, the Leadership Training Project, Operational Support, and Communications Partnerships. NAWBO/SLC partnerships offer partners opportunities to demonstrate their products and services to NAWBO members. In-kind, cash, and combined cash and in-kind contribution levels are available. We welcome project proposals, including proposals for projects that are not listed in the appendix. Timelines for these partnerships are negotiable. The cash and/or in-kind contribution determine project partnership benefits.

Internship Program

NAWBO/Salt Lake Chapter’s alliance with Westminster College offer members the opportunity for business expansion through the services of motivated, accomplished interns. Partner funding supports administration and promotion of this vital program. Interns obtain hands-on experience, which will hone their creativity and prepare them for future employment. The internship schedule includes Fall, Spring, and Summer Semesters.

Leadership Training Project

NAWBO/SLC offers valuable leadership-development opportunities. Cash contributions and in-kind donations (such as frequent flier miles) strengthen the leadership potential of women business owners with scholarships for participation in national meetings and Public Policy Days.

Communications Partnerships

Communications Partnerships include helping with the creation, production, and/or maintenance of the Connections newsletter, website, Resource Directory, and other print communications.

Operational Support Partnership

Operational Support Partnerships include the donation of administrative services, office space/furnishings, hardware, software, equipment, or supplies.
